BRIDGE 

Meets weekly at 7.00 pm on Thursdays at Norton Court.  The standard is good but not too high and relative beginners are welcomed.

FLOWERCRAFT 

Meets at 10.00 am on the Second Thursday of every month at the Community Centre to make themed arrangements with flowers and foliage.

FRIENDS AT HOME

Meets at at 8.00 pm on the last Monday of the month in members’ houses.  An ideal way to meet and chat with other members.

HISTORY

Meets at 2.00 pm on the third Thursday of the month at the Community Centre or wherever necessary.  Individual members are encouraged to undertake original research and collect evidence locally, possibly publishing findings.

LITERARY GROUP

Meets at 7.30 pm on the second Monday of the month, usually in each others’ homes.  We enjoy sharing our favourite poems, novels and reading plays.  We hope to make a couple of theatre visits during the year.

LUNCHEON CLUB

Meets at 12.00 noon on the last Friday of the month at the recreation ground car park to travel by members’ cars.  It gives an opportunity for a good and usually inexpensive meal in an interesting pub or restaurant in good company.

MY MUSIC

Meets at 8.00 pm on the third Friday of the month in members’ houses to play and talk about music of all styles.  We also attend local concerts, both amateur and professional.

PAINTING

Meets at 10.00 am on the first Wednesday of each month at the Community Centre. The standard varies considerably and gives the opportunity for beginners to get help and encouragement.

RAMBLING

Meets at 9.30 am on the third Monday of the month at the recreation ground car park to arrange transport. An ideal opportunity to get to know local and interesting walks.  Not too strenuous and walks are usually planned to end up in a pub for lunch! (optional).

Meets weekly at 10.00am on Tuesdays at the Village Hall.  All abilities welcomed.

VISITS  

Organised trips, outings and holidays are arranged by the Club if these are supported by members.  An opportunity is given to register interest and then go on to book at a later meeting.
